Bend SUP (bendsup.com) is an informal, peer-led community group and resource hub. It is not a commercial outfitter, licensed guide service, rental business, or professional instruction company. Group meetups, paddles, and events are informal gatherings of independent outdoor enthusiasts.
Stand-up paddleboarding (SUP), river paddling, cold-water activity, and outdoor sports carry inherent risks, including but not limited to hypothermia, drowning, collision, equipment failure, changing weather/river conditions, and physical injury. By participating in any Bend SUP meetup or event, you voluntarily assume all risks associated with your participation.
Bend SUP does not provide boards, paddles, Personal Flotation Devices (PFDs), leashes, or thermal gear. All participants are solely responsible for ensuring they have necessary skills, proper USCG-approved equipment, and thermal protection.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bend SUP, its organizers, hosts, and website administrators accept no responsibility or liability for any injury, loss, damage, or accident incurred by individuals participating in group activities.
